1999 td5 disco auto 97k, runs , drives and looks like new.

both i hope will go on and on.

my old 300Tdi 110 had 170,000 on it when i sold it, also still going strong.

Can't disagree.. but that's what happens when my family are in Aberdeen and hers are in Hampshire!

Also it's what happens when the car just keeps on trucking!

Only reason we've parked it up is it's now sluggish... I suspect it's the origonal camshaft... now with round cams! :lol:

Post by: Disco Matt on November 12, 2007, 14:51:04: 1996 Disco 300 TDI, passed 110k miles this morning. I've been trying to deal with potential problems such as the infamous alarm spider before they strike. Still sounds great, although that might be the Double S exhaust and Safari snorkel....

think the maths is wrong. avg 15 mpg to the gallon is

144,000 miles / 15 mpg = 9600 Gallons.

was going to work out how much that is but dont know what price to avg per gallon as its all changed over time!
