Im looking to buy a 3.9 Efi Rangie, modify it and use it for Road and Offroad.

What do you recommend A Auto or a Manual ?

Pros and Cons for both and personal preference.

What sort of off road are you wanting to do? 2k budget, then do you have a budget for the toys? i.e suspension gaurds etc etc

just how far do you what to go?

Thanks for that, Thats a rather good thread to read :)

ideally will spend about 1 K on the rangie to purchase and then about 1.5K on off road bits

£1K should get you a pre-modded Rangie tbh, if you aren't too worried about condition!
