Im looking to buy a 3.9 Efi Rangie, modify it and use it for Road and Offroad.
What do you recommend A Auto or a Manual ?
-
been reading , A Auto :)
So im on the hunt for a 3.9 Auto, with up to 2K to spend
-
Pros and Cons for both and personal preference.
What sort of off road are you wanting to do? 2k budget, then do you have a budget for the toys? i.e suspension gaurds etc etc
just how far do you what to go?

This has been discussed in detail here. (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=48077&highlight=auto+manual+offroad) Lots of opinions expressed but fairly conclusive I'd say.

Thanks for that, Thats a rather good thread to read :)
ideally will spend about 1 K on the rangie to purchase and then about 1.5K on off road bits
-
£1K should get you a pre-modded Rangie tbh, if you aren't too worried about condition!
