In short i would like to borrow a coolant system pressure tester???? The type that fixes to the header tank and pump up, to see where the leak is,
Shortened story i have a 3.5 V8 disco which seems to aquired a thirst for coolant, no obvious leaks no water in oil or visa versa, no increased level on dipstick, runs sweet as a nutty thing, dont overheat, just uses coolant ?? hoping to test it hot n cold with the tester attatched to see where its going ??
Will take as long as it takes you to drink your complimentary cuppa

Do you have LPG?
mine drinks Coolant / Water when running on LPG

no- dont do enough miles for lpg, but keep the tips coming though :)
If the moderaters wish to move this post to disco section i understand, But still need a offer of a pressure tester though :)

Its your Rad, any amount of money on it.
The noise that it was making on Sat certainly points that way and I did see corrosion on there. I'd suspect that the stops on those fans have done it :( Fill her up, go for a good blast to get her nice and toasty and look arround the rust marks. Might ecven be worth using your laser pointer as the steam will make the beam visible.
I thought you were aware the rad had an issue else I'd have make a bigger fuss of it. :(

No im toooo laid back sometimes for my own good  , I shall pop off the fans n go for a blast later on today,( via the petrol garage of course  ) The rads not too old so hopefully i can braze it or chemical metal if its a proper leak n not corrosion??? Cheers for reminding me though :D
P.S ordered the fuse box thingy ( i like fuses me  ) and a few hundred different connecters yesterday,

The SuperSeal connectors are well worth the Money. All of Rabbits new wiring was done with them over a year ago. When I stripped her to do the engine there wasnt a drop of crud in nay of them.
