For my Birthday my sons bought me the disco modding book not a bad read so far it says in the front (a star is born) that the diso was launched in November 1989 at the frankfert car show .
So whos got the oldest disco in the club???

All of the important G-WAC's - the 86 press fleet ones - were registered on 1st October 1989. There are quite a few of these still around, although some have been butchered for off-roading. At last count, there were a dozen good examples in the hands of Discovery Owners Club members.

If they are, why am I so fat !!!!!

			-
you don't use them enough then!!!!
I think they are more a upper arm muscle build up thing. You have to swap sides obviously to build up both arms!!!

			-
Ah !! so that won't help the large flabby belly then.
Maybe I could fashion some sort of clever device that creates a 'total body workout' using the window winder.
Sorry this thread seems to be taking a different tack !!

			-
Don't stop now it's getting interesting

			-
Maybe the 'Wonder Window Workout' could be the next big seller on QVC or  the 'Fresh Air Fat Fighter' I could go on for ages

Mine's an 89 'H' VIN prefix HA cannot put my hands on the V5 ATM
And for the record (having tackled the tin-worm at purchase) has given me 18 months trouble free motoring, and everything fitted in the factory still works, except the sunroofs which I have siliconed shut..
*EDIT* H plate is of course 91 - dodgy maths there. 18/08/91 to be exact (found the V5) VIN HA 4516 which I'm guessing means #4516 in 1991. Only wacky thing it has is RRC hubs rather than the slightly later Defender style ones meaning Boost wheels, for example, won't fit as Paddocks & I found out ;)

Spent a lot of time finding one with no sunroof
Glad I did

Mine's got no sunroof either, what with the wind up windows must be really rare and worth a packet ?
Plus the added extra of the 'belly bustin' window workout' which now uses just my buttock muscles to open the window !!!!!

			-
Ours has no sunroofs either, still has electric windows!

			-
Mine has Range Rover rubbers on the peddles and the bonet lever is on the drivers side and on the inside of the wing (passenger side) there is a metal tag with j104 stamped on it any ideas :?  :?  :?

92 j plate, metal moths have been feasting well, but the bulk of it has been replaced with "second course" so once rear cross member, and a few dubious bit of the repairs are sorted old Jud should be fine. engine excellent, 160k, gearbox has a few charms thrown in (sounds like a few spanners thrown in when dropping into 2nd!) most wear and tear parts replaced, 2 sunroofs, i dont really care if they leek (although i dont think they do?) as long as i dont have a shower while i`m driving!
heater blower by name.. not by nature
content for the time been, but this is part of a bigger plan anyway

I have a 300 series 94 es in the sig.
But new purchase is a December 89 v8 manual. It is in very good condition, also has various Range Rover things on it. Paint code sticker, pedal rubbers that I have found so far, still looking through it all :)
Just gotta get around to cutting the back off now   . I might end up selling i tho as it is too good for what I want to do with it.
