If cost is an issue the Paddocks ones are OK, several of us at work have them.

I fancy the new one, as it looks to be mounted low enough on the cross-member to avoid my 'NAS' lights

Good products, and top quality service.

(they make quite a few things for Scorpion FWIW)

I e-mailed 'Safari-Equip' (only at Bradford) & got a reply.
I sent that picture as an attachment to help explain what I'd done.
They said it will fit, but with differing bracketry.
I'm on holiday all of next week, so a trip along the M62 maybe in order

Did Safari Equip run under a different name (WVA or something like that?)??
I had one of these carriers on my 90Td5 & it's an excellent piece of kit...shame they sell it through scrapiron
You can fit a highlift with 255/85x16spare on too :)

Hmm, interesting - I'd like to see what this 'different bracketry' is, as the standard carrier definitely won't fit with a full complement of NAS rear lights  :(

Hmph. I e-mailed them and haven't heard a thing. I only wanted to know how much they are. Did they tell you by any chance?

No, sorry they didn't
I'll assume they're similar to Mantec prices? (but I could collect, so no postage)

Anyone got some decent pics of one mounted to TD5.

Got one to mount and wanted to move slightly to the right. but mounting there will mean fog lams get in the way -  Alsoi want to be able to mount Hi-lift there as well.

Just a little extra on this - I finally got a response myself from Safari Equip. The prices they gave me are as follows, which differ slightly to that above. No indication of postage costs either

SEL 03 - Defender Wheel Carrier Rear Door with Jack Mount Pre 2002 £175.00 +

Why, oh why don't these companies put their prices on their websites :?:
