Title: dizzy breather????

ok got all the bits to make a breather for my dizzy just got to fit it all together.... but ive got one small question????

im not going to fit just 1 breather pipe to my dizzy but 2!!!!!

well 1 of them is going to go straight to the air box so its always got abit of sucktion

and the other is to feed air into the dizzy so there is a fresh stream of air circulating around the dizz to stop any condensation....



the only problem ive come up with is where do i put the hose that feeds the dizzy with fresh air?????

please dont say put it into the air box with the other!!!!! this way will not cuirculate air through the dizzy...

i thought that maybe i could either put it into the cab, or ive also seen a breather on the top of my rocker cover, but would this work?????


all ideas welcome!!!!

i have heard of people putting air into the dizzy using a compressor but not a line to the airbox. not sure how much difference it would make.

The one I have been working on. One pipe goes to the vacuum system and one to the cabin area through the bulk head. That way in theory at least it should always be pretty dry & a continual flow of air.

I think how it should be is this.
One pipe into the air box then to the dizzy cap, the other pipe from the plenum chamber/ the suction side some where then to the dizzy cap.

Just make sure it doesn't leak too much air or it might upset the running.

Also would it be better with positive air pressure to repel water ingress?

i most proberly would be a good idea but im trying to keep it simple, and plus i havent got any problems keeping the water out of the dizzy, its trying to geta fresh supply of air to it thats the hard part
