Our Young husky is starting to get her adult coat now. In 4 months her moulting has now claimed one vacuum cleaner. Its just too blocked to save :)

Lovely looking pooch you have there!  They look almost wolf like, always fancied a husky.

Went to Lapland last winter for Chrimbo treat - They don't half stink when fed fish! Rammy little dawgs they are! Ten of them merrily trumping away in front of our sleigh. It's a good job I don't smoke or we'd have given Santa a run for his money!

Every so many generations the proper Huskies are rebred with Timberwolves. You can see it in the face.

She's hard work, and very strong willed. She's also a tealeaf to beat all tealeaves too :)

Good jumpers too. When I were a kid my childminder had one, as well as about 7 Rottweillers. No child gate in creation could stop the Husky! Lovely animal mind. And the Rottweillers were the softest bunch of muppets I've ever come across. Goes to show that it's all down to how they're brought up, makes me mad when I see the poor things being persecuted on the news.

Err yes. I tired to catch her once...

She takes off about 4th step from the bottom of the stairs, clears the remaining steps, landing, doorway and two concrete doorstemps. So I thought it would be good fun to catch her.

Ended up on my back, dog stood on my chest about 2 foot from the door and boy did it hurt, damm near winded me when she hit.

We have a specific stairgate thats been reccomended, tis about 1 1/2foot higher than normal, still close the door behind it though. She can go Vertical too, which is impressive to see, 2 foot stright up from sitting.

Has a whole range of faces she pulls too, like the 'I'm not bothhered, you are irrelevant', 'I AM a Wolf' and 'Look at me arent I cute?' plus a lot more.

That's because they are part wolf    In Canada & US Husky sledge dogs are mated with a timber wolf every 4th gen to keep the line pure for the best working dogs
