My sisters just got off a bus that has been shot at with an air rifle, and the police didnt really seem to care! The WPC that attended was more intent on playing about with the bell than helping! There was a 10p size hole in the bottom right of the window, so police reckon on an air rifle. Then they smashed the window in and drove away, i thought they would atleast have checked the area?
There was a dead body found this morning in the same area that this took place.
I work on the buses too so i went down to see if the driver was ok, hes alright but the shock hasnt hit him yet.
Now i cant wait till Wednesday when iv got a late shift! :(

And as a consequence of incidents like this our leaders will ban air guns and then legitimate users like myself will be persecuted and the lowlifes will continue regardless.
-
sounds about right
-
a 10p size hole from an air rifle?! are you sure?
-
that was their thought
but we dont really get alot of gun crime round here
-
I would go to the bosses, that is just wrong, we take all gun crimes seriously.

it is possible, i have a stealth 2000 and that could probably do it. but the police are just something called tax collectors. grrrrrrrr i hate them

Britain...the Worlds toilet

A 10p size hole, not from an air rifle, the pellet only weighs a couple of grains, it wouldnt even break the glass, it would chip it though, i reckon a catapult with a ball bearing.
-
ours use 40 grain magnum, that hole easily done, some of the fast steel 18 grain are travelling very fast throught the chrono, they will do megga damage.
some are nearly a s dangerous as my rimfire, just not the range.

Hi ya Dave, I used to drive buses in Liverpool, I now work in the head office of Arriva NW we get this at least once a night.
About 4 years ago a mate of mine was shot in the face while driving a bus on a late, the police never made a big deal of it.
The amount of things Ive seen would make your bloody boil.
Your right this country is mad to much cotton wool for the bad guys

the thing that gets me is its not just in isolated, one off incidents its happening in every town all over the country.
Im a recovery truck driver and get people from all over the country, every walk of life in the cab with me and without fail the topic of conversation always involves immigrants, gun and knife crime and the mcanns...
When is somebody going to sort out the crime and imigration in this country? its a shambles and the countrys going down hill rapidly!
-
frosty i agree..........i also drive recovery trucks and have people from every walk of life in my cab................allways the conversation turns round to the state of the country, immigration, violence, binge drinking, kids running wild etc etc.......makes me wonder though......if every passenger i pick up is in agreement about the state of the country)obviously making up a cross proportion of the populace)....how come the same fools still get voted in to make the decisions?
-
Unfortunately there is no quick fix solution to the problems in this country.
The current government have succesfully managed to bring it to its knees, an election will happen soon, but is Cameron an effective leader?
What are the solutions?
I have several but would no doubt be labelled as a right wing facist, as it involves:
limitation of immigrants into the UK
more resources to keep the borders tighter,
tighter controls on benefit and those who claim it including our own home grown claimants.
A policy of firm but fair policing, carried out by Police Officers, and not Support staff who are there to make up numbers.
etc etc etc
I won't even start to go into ideas in relation to the Armed Forces, Terror threat, Agriculture, and Housing, as it would take up too much space and I would never get anything done on my time off
