Post by: range17 on September 07, 2007, 21:52:21
Hi has anybody heard of the pipes inside the fuel tank on the fuel pump perishing, allowing air into the system causing poor starting .
If so what sort of job to take tank off.

Cheers Rob .

Sorry, not one I know but usually there is a hole in the boot floor and that sort of thing is not too difficult.

If no replies in a reasonable timeI'll drag out the manual and have a look for you.

I've finally got to have a look a the manual; sorry to tell you this but it looks like you need to take the tank off to get at them.

Mind you with it sealed in the tank I would be very surprised to see them corroded, except possibly the bits above the tank where they come out.
