Title: 300tdi header tank
Post by: beast5680 on August 26, 2007, 14:28:07
is it common for these to leak? mine seems to have developed a leak along the seam round the middle :?  do the parts people sell these or is it a good idea to go for a stainless steel replacement?

they are readily available from paddocks etc cheaply. yes they do leak there as it is a seam.

Never had one leak myself but it's plastic welded so if it's going to leak anywhere it will be there.

Common as muck, so much so that I don't hoard them  .
