I was wandering around Walmart on a recent trip to America, and got to the tyre section!!
BFG Muds and AT's (Trac edge no less) 235.85/16
$89.00 each!! At the current exchange thats around £45.00
why are they more than double that by the time they get here??

Thats staggering, I put A pair of Pirrelli Scorpion S/T's on mine at the weekend and they were £112.50 a piece. This really is rip off Britain!!!!

Nene Vally are £95 for BFG's
Its amazing how the price of something can be so differant.
Could it be british tax that puts it up?

Various things push the prices up, such as delivery costs, import tax, VAT and the UK shops profit. I've looked at a number of american items and in practice the £:$ exchange rate might as well be 1:1
