The TDI engine defender is so easy to start, with or without cat 2 systems on.
I have been playing around with different ideas for my own anit theft system based on stopping the gearbox turning.
Would be interesting to see if anyone else come up with something.
I dont see the point of fitting things to stop the engine starting because all that is needed is 12volts feed to the fuel shut off and a bump start.
Sorry to hear yours has gone. Looks like the winch and bumper got away OK.
I am looking for a winch and bumper if you want to sell it.

Mines alright now Tony, have attached Axel to it(GSD)
Think i might go back to the welded chain bolted throgh the floor with a good padlock, as i use to have on my old Hi-Lux.

Mine went just before christmas last year with no trace, strange that yours is a burn out as they mostly get broken up,as said immobilisers are a waste of time thatcham or otherwise.
