Oops! Aluminium roof rack vs. large tree = 1-0 to the tree  Done at Runhall last weekend. Should be able to get it reasonably straightened out.

thank god for roof racks huh

I thin it just adds character

least you did it first Steve, i was going to have a go then had second thoughts when i looked at your rack
have you got it sorted now mate?
-
i agree with RRB! :D

It was either the rack or the roof if it wasn't there! I've belted the roof before and you can push it out with your hands. The rack is bit stronger. The whole thing as shifted to the right so it sits about 1" over at the back compared to the front!
I'll get the crow bar out tonight and see what happens when I apply 'a little pressure'

i have a bullfrog modified brown church on my disco and use it as a tree slider quite often and so far she is still as good as the day she went up there..... amazing bit of kit.....im sure my disco roof would of been dented by now if not for that rack

I didn't have a roofrack when i leaned on a tree........

Oops! Bet you wish you had a roof rack
As for straightening the rack.... The crow bar didn't do it, so out with the high lift and a couple of bits of timber. It's not exactly straight, but better than it was.
