...change a head lamp as tomoz I'm either replacing it or draining the water out of it  :shock:

just give the headlamp a yank and owt it comes.

Looking from above, hold the small plastic clip (3 off) and pull slightly towards the rear of the car. With the clip out of it's hole, rotate it by a few degrees so the unit can be pulled forward. Repeat x 3.

Time - 1 minute max.

Don't yank it out!!!

Unless yours is very different, the upper red circle on the left does not need touching.

And again, don't undo the bolts as these alter the alignment. Just rotate the clip.

I found the easyest way of removing the headlamps so far is to ram the bumper into the dirt at sibbertoft on one of the bomb holes and they pop right out lol :lol:  :roll:

The part that is bottom left in your photo (with a plug and wiring connected to it) is a headlamp levelling motor - when you remove the headlamp carefully prize the bottom off the motors otherwise you'll end up snapping the small receptacle on the back of the headlamp that the motor connects to.
As has been said you just rotate the plastic clips and NOT the bolts.

I found going off road pops them out as well. Good job I have light guards so they catch the unit!! :lol:
