I'm popping over to South Wales (Cwmbran) tomorrow and will be using the toll bridge. Does anyone know how much it costs for a car and do you pay both ways or just one?
-
have a look here (http://www.severnbridge.co.uk/toll_prices.shtml) I seem to remember you pay going in on one bridge and coming out on the other.......but I could be talking rubbish its been a while

Oh see it says tolls are charged westwards only......... so you have to pay to get into Wales  they let you leave for free

And charge you £5.10 for a car or car and trailer/caravan

If you pay to go into wales, should they not pay you to come out again
sounds fare to me :D

Coming from the north I used to use the M5>A48 and only used the new Severn bridge on the way out of Wales.
I must admit I always smiled as I drove across it

I shall be going to Wales in 2 weeks time for a holiday. Yes I know I'm mad!! I will be coming from the north so doesnt matter about the tolls this time!
If you talk very nicely to the barrier people sometimes they will let you go through for the next charge down. I last went through with a van and trailer and got away with a car ticket!! :D
