Ok was just wondering where you lot mount a work lamp on the back of a discovery as we have fount out that the reverse lights are rubbish when it comes to night laning.

Above the gutter to left or right of back door.

I'm planning to use a couple of old CB gutter mounts for ease of adjustment and to avoid putting (more) holes in the bodywork.

For best effect I find worklights should be mounted as high as practically possible. If there mounted too low then your more likely to see shadoes on the ground, which arn't helpful when your trying to spot the next furrow.

Those CB gutter mountings sound quite good.

If you have one, cut down an old roof rack guuter mount. I have one which is lockable and the work light is on that which can be easily removed when not needed.
