Some class rambler bashing going on at the bbc, Some eexamples :
'I agree. I used to know a rambler. In a certain light and if you didn't quite look at him but didn't quite look away, his skin seemed to shimmer almost as if he had a lizard skin trying to burst through his human skin. He used to eat flies as well
I heard they eat babies... Sophie Shinigami
That could be true - I know a militant rambler and although she is vegetarian she always looks at babies like she's picturing them with some mint sauce.....
I always thought "Ramblers" was something to do with walking, but it appears from what I've seen of them today that it's a bunch of elderly people who just talk about stuff they know nothing about.
Its good reading ;) And there are some guine points in there too

We are camping down in Swanage at the moment, there seems to be hundreds of Ramblers here, roaming around as if they own the place as, they normally do
Anyway having a cracking time the weather has been great :)
Cheers

Are ramblers the same as bobble hats or do they come from another planet.

Same thing, but they are from a different plannet.
We were out Laning in North Yorkshire at the weekend and we met several hikers (not bobble hat members) They were all very pleasant and talkative
