how long is a piece of string? depends what you're going to do with it i suppose. i cant tell you what the "best size" is, but i can tell you that its gonna vary.

obviously, off road a bigger tyre will give you more clearance... but it will also change your overall gearing, which might not be good for on the road. numerous other things come into it too.

best method is go out, find a tyre that you like, maybe stick a post on here and say "are these any good" and if they are, go buy them :)

you have opened a real can of worms here mate. My personally opinon and i will proberly get slated for it is.

It mainly depends on what you are going to be doing but i run 215 X 75 X 15 and also got a set of 7.50 x 16 witch give me more clearance as they are about 30 - 31" tall but thin witch i think works well in the mud but some people do like to run a wider tye like the 31 x 10.5 x 15 with my 15 there is no real mods required but with the 16 you will need a lift and some inner arch modification with a big hammer.
