Hi there
You'll soon have everyone round after you now, pleeeeeeeeeeeese can you just weld this etc.
I started out that same way many moons ago.
It's really rewarding once you get into it.
You will then start fabricating you own panels then there will be the other tools edge setting tools hammers formers etc.
If you start with 20 gauge steel and practice getting some nice clean lines at different settings. You will be able to look at the back after welding 2 plates together and see the penetration on the other side. Its a good thickness to practice on.
The only real way to get really good is practice and more practice.
Here's wishing you many years of care free welding.
Galvanised steel gives off cyanide gas so take care if welding that stuff plenty ventilation oh and wax oil boy ca it destroy a car when it catches fire.
Cheers H1

The price of hiring the bottle is the stinger  £43 + VAT just to sit in the shed on the off-chance you need to patch a hole. Did Dick Turpin start these gas companies up
