anybody know weather an lt 77 box out of a 91 rangie will fit in the hole that used 2 be an lt 77 in my 85, 90"?

rangie was 3.9 v8 lr is 2.5 na soon 2 be 200 tdi i hope

Afraid not.

The LT77 from the Rangie will be the 'Longstick' version, which is (I guess) around 8-10" longer and will have different bell housing fittings.

You need a 4 cylinder LT77 to go back in there.

Just to qualify that... you could probably make it fit.. you might even be able to get an adaptor of some sort...   but it will involve a bit of fiddling.

[!Expletive Deleted!], cant i unbolt the bellhousing and swap them also it appears that the gear change lever unbolts just wondered about the length of the input shaft

If you get stuck... I've got a 4 cyl LT77 here for sale... but I'm in Dorset, so it's a bit of a trek.

that may not be 2 much of a prob as my cousin is a truck driver  how much do u want may pop down anyway and say hello
