Title: no glow plug light on dash

hi , ive had a shogun and that had a glow plug light and now i have the paj it doesnt , ive taken the dash top off to see if the bulb had gone but the hole was blanked off
so why is there no light  :cry:

hi there the 2.5 pajero does not have a heater plug light
but the 2.8 does, dont ask me why as i have not got a clue  :D

turn the key, 'click' wat a few seconds, 'click' the start the engine.

you need to clean your egr, me thinks!

If its smoking on start up then, check your glo plugs, easier still check your bus bar is nice and clean and insure that the contacts are sound to the plugs.

Run some redex through it that normally helps. if the smoking persists then blank off the egr valve or clean it out, this does make a difference :wink:

what about 1 of these £3.50 gadgets off ebay to stop the black smoke whats that all about

Youll get a ball bearing and a piece of paper :evil:  Will work if your EGR valve is still working but if it's stuck then it's pointless. For a couple more quid you can get the blanking plate (also on ebay) and it will do a much better job.
