Disco steels are narrower.

Plenty of us run 235/85 on our stock alloys, so unless you want to run road tyres to prevent wearing the muds out then you don't need to buy any more wheels.

What condition are your current tyres in? just that I have some wheels/tyres for sale.

howdy,

the alloys are in good nic, and the colway at's still have plenty of tread. i am looking at getting some insa dakars (would love some cooper discoverer's  ) but i need to shift my bobtail project 1st.

P.S. should have said that i am thinking of modulars not standard disco steels

Ah, then if you buy mudulars or 8 spokes you could increase the track a little too.

Stick with Alloys and if poss get BF goodrich   I ran Colways and the difference is worth the extra cost both for off road and tarmac...Nige
