My TD5 2003 has started leaving its mark on the drive lol .Checked the oil level and its fine is this normal or should I delve deeper below the plastic shroud lol

where about is it dripping the oil onto ur drive?

in front of the drivers wheel or behind the drivers wheel or elsewhere?

infront of the drivers wheel?

remove the battery box lid & with a torch have a look in the bottom of the ECU box

if theres oil in the bottom of the ecu box then u have an injector loom problem,
£50 ish for the loom & an hour to change it also washing the plugs out,does the car miss fire atall?

No starts and goes fine bit smoky when pushed  :roll:

Well finally got round to checking it............oil under the ecu nope.crawled underneath and oil is driping off the front prop from the power steering box  :cry:

First of many leaks I would pressume . . . . . Land Rovers don't leak oil . . . . they just 'mark their terittory' . . . . :lol:

No) leave well alone, it's not bust, don't fix it

Yes) tell her it's not a mechanical problem but will be expensive to put right, drop some sand on the concrete to soak it up or pant the drive black :wink:

It'll be PAS fluid rather than oil.  Bottom seal prob needs replacing.
