I fitted the new starter to the zuke today and it actually drives fine, well to be honest it drives like a bag of [!Expletive Deleted!], so just just like it's suposed to! LOL
I think I'll MOT it and keep it for Play Days, the ftrak is too nice to wreak!

Looks nice fudge....
Is it possible to use a high lift jack on that ? Or will that break the plastic ?
Never seen a fourtrack - so don't know anythikng about them.

Sir Fudge,
You can have a plastic section  - but there wont be many people in it!!
See http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=30599&highlight=daihatsu
Have you by any chance got a large drawer full of mud club stickers ? They seem to go on and off your cars more often than mine breaks down.
Glad you found your phone dude

\:D/ Thank You, I've liked them for years, and this one came up on eblag, was very badly described, no mention of service history which is full Daihatsu & Jeep Main dealer to 62k, then I have a reciept for Tyres, Cam Belt, Poly Belt, Oil & Filter at 69k and a clutch at 74k and its just turned 80,500, all the electrics work (till I get it wet) and she runs sweet as! no smoke, all this for £1700, that'll teach the seller to list his stuff correctly and in the right section!
As a trader, and soon to be Daihatsu Main Dealer I'd give that for this anyday to retail at £3k!
We should have the franchise running in the next three weeks or so, our website will be www.cscdaihatsu.co.uk, it will run along side our main business which is www.cambridgesmartcars.co.uk (hence the csc) I'd love to help with genuine parts at a discount for Mud-Clubbers!

Wow, you really has got a blummin bargin there mate ! 8) :D

how do they go in the mud though? is there much ground clearance?
-
I need to "wind" the front torsion bar a bit, but with some aggressive tyres I think it'll be fine! I have decided to keep the zuke too, i've replaced the alternator, starter, hood and clutch (paddle), unless someone wants a well cared for, slightly dented, but fine from the passenger side zooke then i'll never get my money back, so when Ringo gets stuck I'll be there with Godzuki to pull him out!
Anyway, all vote for a Daihatsu (read Plastic) section for me!

I had to do the same with the frontera to make it anywhere near capable. you cant beat a 2.8 engine either.
cheers, Rob
-
I guess I could even give the rear torsion bar a twist or two too!
They (4t's) sit looking front heavy anyway!

Sorry Fudge, have emptied the garage looking for lift kit, me thinks i must of chucked it at er in indoors request when we moved.
Still you work for Daihatsu, so you probably have springs & shackles coming out of your ears !
Next time mine slowtrak decides goes into cardic arrest i'll come and see you and Lord Archer.
