Post by: simon15 on March 11, 2007, 18:03:02
Clutch was slipping quite bad while out laning today so just wondering what clutch i will need?

You not having much luck
If it a Rangie g/box I would say it a Rangie clutch plate to match the spigot, The Isuzu flywheel should be modified to take said clutch and keep starter ring gear

Best to strip and measure it if the conversion used is unknown

Not much help  :?

yeah it aint good, but i was trying to pull away on a big hill with  a dodgy clutch anyway.

oops i just ordered a isuzu clutch!!!!!

only £39 though so can always sell it on if not.

would i need a TDI Rangie/disco clutch or V8 or something else.

i want to get it before it gets stripped so it can all be done in one go.

ill buy a Rangie clutch too then see which one would fit...

What gearbox has it got? What was the original engine?

Prob best to strip first and compare in parts shop.

£39 ?? is that just the plate?? and can you not return it?
