Quite recently one of my family members died from a sudden heart attack, it was a shock to us all.
My father is going to the Himalayas and for a month they are going to do as many peaks as possible, including Everest base camp (which isn't at the bottom ... it's some 18,000 feet up!). At 63 this is no mean feat.
If anyone would like to donate some money on his behalf as he undertakes this incredible journey - all proceeds are going to the British Heart Foundation.
Hopefully on his return I will have access to his footage and write ups.
