Bottom small one is fuel feed.
Top large one is crankcase breather.
Top small one is float chamber overflow.

Had a similar issue with a Zuke the other weekend. Turned out to be muck in the float chamber. Have you stripped/cleaned out the SU?

HTH.

No. If it's coming out of the overflow, the float needle/seat are worn. Is it an HIF6 or an HIF44? They use different float needles. I would expect an HIF44 if it was from a late model Mini (1990-1993).

The main metering jet is always the same. It is the metering needle that gets changed to correct fuelling. If you are using it on a 413, the BDL needle seems to work OK in most cases.

I've also sent you a PM.

Great! It's usually something simple. The SU's aren't a complicated device.

hi steve that zuki was'nt mine by any chance lol
I had the same probs the other day stripped it down cleaned it out ran good again this was on the highway and not in mud

Sounds like you've got some goo in the tank or a batch of dodgy fuel.
