Title: Vehicle ramps
Post by: jimny33 on February 13, 2007, 20:50:07
Hey

Where can I get some ramps which are wide enough for my tyres (205 for my ATs and 225 for my roadies) ...halfords ones are only rated to 185 width

Thanks

What is the worry of them being too thin...the vehicle comming off?  :?

used to put 35hp tractor up on cheapy ramps not the safest cos of the weight but wont damage tyres. think its all to do with the tyre locating in the dip bit at the top so it dont slide off, as long as on flat concrete and well chocked shouldnt be a problem. a case of halfords covering their a**e probably
