Title: New heavy duty trackrod and steering damper fitted
Post by: jnoshea on February 11, 2007, 19:35:34
Fitted a heavy duty trackrod yesterday and added an Old Man Emu steering damper this morning. This thing looks indestructible  :D Not like the bent one I took off. What do you think...

...I'll be fitting the new draglink when I get chance.

i've had a similar problem with my Anti-roll bar mounts, i crushed one of the rear ones at christmas..

any ideas on beefing them up a bit?

sorry to hi-jack your thread... i've just fitted one of those track rods, after bending my original one.. i reckon they're almost indestructable!!!

I'd suggest welding a plate across the open face that you least want to be able to reach through, like say the inner, close the box so to speak.
