Post by: burgerman on February 07, 2007, 12:49:59: Hoowdy all, For those of you who know andy "seven stars" Who warmly hosts the berkshire pub meets, Aparrantly after evicting a couple of gate crashers from a private function at his pub , Shortened story is that andy is now in an induced coma in hospital, The doctors have done this to give him the best chance of recovery. I guess along the same plan as the hamsters crash, I just hope he makes a full and speedy recovery, Swmbo heard the other day on local radio that two people ( and i use the word people very loosley) were charged with ABH and GBH.

Get well soon andy, And best wishes to his family in this difficult time

Daniel Brian Storrar, 20, of Billing Avenue, Finchampstead, has been charged with one count of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of actual bodily harm.

Both men will appear at Slough MagistratesÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ Court today (5/2).

Thomas Spires, 18, of Keats Road, Woodley, has been charged with one count of actual bodily harm. He has been bailed to appear at Bracknell MagistratesÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ Court on 14 February.

The charges relate to an alleged disturbance at the Seven Stars public house in Knowl Hill that took place shortly before midnight on 3 February. A 19-year-old man sustained a broken arm and a man in his thirties received serious head injuries.

The man with head injuries remains in hospital today. His condition is described as serious but stable.

EDIT: I've also just found out that Andy is in ICU at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. I'll update anything when i hear it.

Swelling on his brain is getting less and thay are hoping to start waking him up today this may take a few days, he could be in for a while as he also has a chest infection brought on by the trauma.
i will try and keep you updated.

Does anyone now if the pub is still doing grub?? How about a meet one day/evening, im sure a pic of the a load of landys in the carpark will lift his spirits, And a drop of extra cash in the till is always welcolmed What u all reckon ??

I believe the pub is running "as normal" still, so sounds like a great idea.

Right... how many landys can we park in the carpark/immediate area outside the nearest window to his bed? I'm sure that would cheer the boy up.

Post by: Snooky on February 16, 2007, 08:28:45: I really like that idea, but having been to said hospital the answer is none, it has to be the worst planned hospital ever and lucky if you can get a parking space to go to A&E let alone visit, best we can do is all line up outside the pub and show him the pics... :wink:

If anyone is thinkning of this for next week I won't be around though :cry:

I believe that he is breathing unaided now without his tracheotmetry ( its not spelt anything like like i guess ??) But spelt it how it sounds :roll:

Also been moved from I/Care to a "normal" ward, it is my belief that most/majority of his actions seem to be responding also, But not a lot of memory at the moment, but apparrently this is quite normal? any how, it seems great news so far but a Long way to go, think were trying to organise a meet/photo shoot sometime in the near future, if you r about ??

Mr Bump was what I called my old Disco.. Might have to name the 110 Mr Bump as well as trees jump out in front of that one as well :)
