Title: Jimny lift
Post by: brewster on January 31, 2007, 20:05:56
Hi all,

I'm thinking of getting myself a Jimny, but only want to do so if I can lift it!  Would some one like to tell me how to go about this?  ie, how easy is the mod, and where is the best place to get the bits (price etc).

Thanks...

Paul

Dead easy.  Kits from Procomp are good.  i have a rhino Ray 3.5 inch lift on mine.

longer brake hoses are a must tho.

For a 2" lift you will need:-

Procomp 2" lift kit with springs and shocks £226 (www.explorerprocomp.co.uk)
Goodrich extended brake hoses £39 (www.explorerprocomp.co.uk)
Castor corrected bushes £77 ( rubbers suzuki and other places) Or alternatively look at the thread on here where people have re-welded the radius arm mounts to compensate for the castor angle.
