OK so stupid question, should my vin plate have more information than just the Chassis number stamped on it???
1994 RRC softdash Tdi
-
think they had two info plates?
-
my rrc has only the vin number on the plate and all the weight fields left blank aswell
also i have knowtices spelling mistakes on the instructions on the fuse box lid it must be landrover being cheep

I'm not sure the weights were required in this market, it may be just for commercials or something.

I've bought a Disco where the VINs differ between the dash & the slam panel (long story - don't ask!), but I've had to have the car inspected by the DVLA recently to determine it's real identity - they assured me that it's perfectly normal for Land Rovers to only have the VIN on the plates & no other info.
