Sorry, guys and gals.... it's in Vancouver!
Just spoken to a friend in Richmond, Vancouver and they have had 3 major snow falls this year already. Another 8-10" last night apparently. He's off this weekend to play in the snow with his snowmobile.
Some people have all the fun!

A mate of mine moved out to Washington State last Autumn. He likes to go to Idaho to look for mineral specimen and he's a bit peeved since it's snowed over a foot on 2 different occations in December alone.
He mentioned something about 100+ inches where he wants to go. He's going to have to wait until Spring

I peeked at Ski sites last week and there were 2.6 metres in Canada on some of the resorts.
Thats alora snow!

Having lived over there, its great fun. Always laughed at how 2mm of snow brings the UK to a halt but north America it takes several feet to take effect, never heard of the C-Train not running because of snow/ice/leaves eaither.
And its great when you start the car, jump in, press the door opener and are facing a 5 foot wall of snow where the door was. Then you just go right back to bed :)

Winter doesnt exist anymore. Its mid january and i'd happily go for a walk round the block with no shirt if i didnt worry about people thinking i'm a nut.
Then again, i cant complain- its all my fault!
Oh well... 158 days until summer

What? With my memory? I struggle to remember what I did yesterday
The 8-10" was just one nights fall. It is on top of what was already there. I understand they are now at about 12 feet in the foothills where he was off to use his snowmobile :D
