Nice clip.

Out of interest - what tyres should be considered for these conditions?  MT's, or something a bit different?

I usually end up in similar places, but I have BFG A/T's on my Disco.  Looking for idea's when it's time to change.

Poor guy, he seemed to be doing everything right, apart from the tyres.

didnt quite do everything right.... watch the tyres, steered up hill which is why the rear slewed and hence the roll. Natural thing to do though once you feel it start to slide. I think the damage was prob less than if the slide had continued.

clearly...its a Jeep thing

For grip in that gloop though you need aggressive sidewalls, bfg m/t's , wrangler, m/ts or more aggressive(simex). We were laning on Thurs and one of our guys couldnt get out of ruts with simex extreme trekkers and difflocks front and rear...just goes to show how slippery it can be and that nothing would work.

Most people don't have a choice of tyres and rarely does anyone say I don't think I'll do this it's too muddy.

I find the rear locker makes that harder though.  Out of interest where did you go?
