I fitted a paddle clutch shortly after fitting a 1600cc vitara engine to my sj413. burnt standard clutch out as also fitted greenway anaconda tyres. this was good way forward for me.

I've had 3 and a half play days (towed too then too) out of a standard clutch in 410..... first clutch done 53k and one play day, 2nd clutch fitted by me earlier this year is now dead! IMHO they just glaze and die...
My 410 is no monster, just has 195/80r15 Colway MT's....
I've got a Paddle Plate From Darren @ KAP to fit now!

Yep! Can't agree more. On the standard Sammy clutch it would slip at the slightest attempt at a rock! Fitted a paddle clutch plate from KAP (damned expensive though!) and all is well. The biting point is a bit 'sharp' but you get used to it.
