I have a wierd problem;
BMW 6 cyl engine and it seems to stall for a second or two intermittantly. Sometimes it goes miles no problem then does it numerous times in a short time/distance. It doesn't stop me just makes the car jerk, if at idle at 800rpm it drops to about 400 and recovers.
Testbook shows nothing, it did have a fault 78 but apparanlty that means nothing.
The only other thing is a climate control fault that started coming up sometimes after it started.
I think it does it more in the wet but it's hard to tell.
Any ideas?

Well I have found out the problem; No. 4 injector has a position sensor for the ECU, this has now packed up totally and I have an Engine fault on now with the car in limp mode, not that I can tell.
Anybody have a No. 4 injector to spare?

Ouch! I don't like the engine fault like being on as it might mask a more serious alarm so I have ordered a new injector.
5 of the six I can get for £20 each PX, the one I need is £140 with no interest in trhe old one!
The one plus point is I found a company that supplies it and loans the specialist tool (window socket) to get it out included in the price.
