Title: Engine Coolant Temp
Post by: spyke_boi on December 14, 2006, 04:25:43: Woo, was just working in edinburgh, driving about and my temp gauge went all up to the red... So when i noticed this, i went straight back to my mates house and stored the car in the garage, but i dont know why my temp is so high? i'm not using the carr exessivly.

Any Idea's?

All sorted now, filled her up with 50/50 Anti and Water

My son's showed same symptoms a few months ago - it's now in the workshop having new head gaskets etc............

Thought this forum, was above remarks like that, looking back when the Disco first came about a lot of people remarked about it not being a proper landy and time has proven them wrong, give the old Freebie a chance she is not a bad old girl, and at the end of the day when all is said and done, she has the good old green oval attached to her, so she is a proper landy :D :D

On a recent laning trip, infortunatly, due to money issues, i couldn't get Mud Tyres or All Terrains, but was persuaded to try the lanes anyways. Throughout the whole weekend, it rained, which made the lanes very slippery and dodgy, but alas, she made it. Even coped VERY well with the rock steps.
