Hi all,
My A/C pump pully is needing to be replaced due to the slight exploding of the tensioner wheel
We removed the centre bolt.....and then then pulled...but it won't come off...does anyone have any sage advice? It's a 1997 Disco btw...

LR tool #1 - big hammer
Could put a spanner behind it and try and lever it off.
. . . and how does something 'slightly' explode?
:?

A/C pump pully puller? :?
No one local with a three legged puller?
Is there a woodruff key? Can you get at it with a small punch to try to dislodge it slightly in case that's what is gripping it?

Try a combination of above, lever gently from behind and a centre punch/drift on the middle of the shaft and tap it

I think you're all giving far too much credit to nellies knowing his way round a toolbox..
you want to hit it with the big heavy thing mate :)

Didn't like to say Daz but we've seen the videos.

Tried all those things....have *not* got a puller. Any volunteers?

I always knew you couldn't pull :)
you could try the dentist trick, put a bit of string round it and attach it to the doorhandle .... <SLAM>
