the pessimist in me says it will fail big style, but i cant find anything wrong.
all the lights work, the engine dont smoke, tyres are legal, seatbelts work, horn works, wheel bearings are ok, brakes stop the car, (but wether thats all 4 wheels i cant tell)
anything else people can think of to check?
-
thought the same on my 109 other week but she failed on the laminating gone on the rear no. plate and hand brake not tweaked up enough, funny i thought it was ok
good luck with it hope it's a pass for you

What state is the chassis in?
Are there Any leaks?
The last RRC i MOTed failed on rusty brake pipes
-
i replaced nearly all the brake pipes for the last MOT (april 2005), and they look ok still
the handbrake has a habit of sticking on at the mo, but frees off as soon as you drive (it has been stood for 6 months with the brake off)
chassis has had several plates done on it in the last 2 months, no more rust that i can find.
no oil leaks either
-
oh well, its going to fail
just dropped it off
before i did i decided to test the brakes, and it pulls heavily to the left :(
probably just adjustment, but i'll know for sure this afternoon
-
IT PASSED!

Great Stuff! Bet you are :D
I'm currently working towards the dreaded MOT too.
-
Just check the thing over, clean it down, and pray
There are so many things now, just do what you can, if you have the facility, see if you can get a pre mot inspection done on it.
It would be cheaper than the mot and reveal a lot more, then you can sort that out before the mot
