SWMBO gets very defensive when someone comments on 4x4 safety for no good reason, talking amonst the parents up the local school she hears one of the staff going on about how she had been hit by a 4x4 in her car and how she was lucky to survive etc etc placing the emphasis on the 4x4 bit as well. later she adds into the conversation how the driver was 3 times over the limit :evil: so SWMBO points out in a loud voice "so they would have hit you no matter what car they were in then considering they drunk that much"
it annoys me how the conversation was implying that it was the type of car that was at fault and not the fact the driver had a skinful :roll:

I would have to agree, but I have to say that I am getting used to being labelled as an environemental terrorist, a dominearing road hog, a reckless inconsiderate driver of who uses the phone while driving all the time while out waiting around near pavements to catch any poor child who crosses my path in the grill of my car.
I have often tried to reason with these people and will always try to listen to their point of view however unblanced and unfounded it is.
I have often been tempted to tell them to S*d off, but I would then be labelled as aggresive and unintelligent.
So I will just content myself with waiting for the time when these people are stuck somewhere and need help, and then I shall have a good gloat!
