went down to heathrow on saturday night to drop my old man off, got home, car left on the drive all sunday, got in it this morning to go to work, less than 2 miles down the road the gearbox siezed, so day off work to get recovered and wait for hire car to turn up
thank god it's a company car

Yeah, they can't be quite as snotty about your day off then either.
