Hmm, funny, my Audi evolved into the A4 a few years later and they are the same chassis. Better visibility than a Disco? Hell no!

If people are aware of what they are driving its not a problem anyway, nother great example of stupidity in action.

this country is going to climb up its own ar***le. if the fact that your car has a blind spot needs pointing out by some under trained glass monky then  i think its time to say england shut the f**k up. ( :D rant over)

Research paid for by autoglass, what business is it of theirs anyway?

Does help explain why they charged £826 for my windscreen though

Rather disappointingly bad publicity driven research from an automotive company.  Sounds awfully like they don't want any 4x4 business to me.  I shan't be using them.

TYPICAL ..

showed that the Jeep Grand Cherokee fared particularly badly in tests, with an A-pillar blind spot (A-spot) measuring 14ft 9in (4.5m) - capable of hiding two motorcycles from the driver's view.

Autoglass said the Land Rover Freelander and Hyundai Santa Fe did not perform much better, with both having A-spots of 13ft 6in (4.1m), capable of hiding up to 10 children from view.

Top of the 4x4 pack was the BMW X3 with an A-spot of 7ft 6in (2.3m) - still almost 10 times larger than the best-performing saloon car, the Audi A4. Other results included the Land Rover Discovery 3, with an A-spot of 11ft (3.4m), and the Nissan X-Trail, with an A-spot of 9ft 6in (2.9m) - capable of hiding a small car from view.

My Vectra has a massive blind spot where the mirror is. When I go to the left I can't see anything without lowering my head.
