Title: Are you removing and/or fitting an engine...
Post by: Luke on September 24, 2004, 15:27:26
...any time in the near future?

I'm particularly interested in watching someone fit an engine - preferably a diesel, but not necessarily.

I can offer my help lifting things, and although I make disgusting tea, my coffee isn't bad!
I'm happy enough getting up to my elbows in muck and grease, and am willing to help out as much as I can - or as much as I'm allowed!

If you, or anyone you know, is going to be doing this sometime soon, would you consider me tagging along for the experience?

Although I live in Kent, I'm willing to make my own way to most places within a few hours commute.

Thanks

You could have come and watched me do mine. Would have meant moving to Northampton for 9 months of course

Me too. The NAD's coming out soon. I'll let you know.

By the way I take two sugars and Ollie doesn't drink tea or coffee so are you offering any alternatives  :?:

As much coke or redbull as you can drink, and if there's a chippy near, I'd even provide lunch!

How's that sound? :)

I don't have to take the engine out to do a crank seal change do I? Well, I wasn't planning to, but what looks like on the outset to be a straight forward job............ bring in the Land Rover equation and you never know what's going to happen
I'm also installing a new intercooler. Welcome for any help, but your time maybe better spent watching a seasoned pro taking an engine out, rather than a bloke who has no idea what he's doing, (That's me  ).
