Title: How much for a 2002 CSW?
Post by: africa-eko on September 28, 2006, 17:33:08
I am considering this purchase (TD5 unfortunately); mileage is 125k but all in all in good nick as it is only 4 years young. Genuine CSW, simple outfit really no added extras. :?  :?  :?

What is a good price for it? Come on all TD5ers and seasoned landy owners, please help!

Also, What should I look for (like potential problem)?

There shouldnt be problems on 2002. The only thing to watch is the mileage so make sure its been well maintained, regular services, regular oil changes.

Difficult to say.

Depends on spec (mines a county, but has metallic poaint, alloys, sunroof and winter pack making it just a whisker shy of XS), conditon, mileage, history, etc etc

Where is it from, dealer, independant, private, auction?

What is the best private price? It is a private sale and I am thinking £8k?

90 or 110? Either way it will be more than 8k by some chunk.(I'd reckon 10+ for a 90, 14+ for a 110)

Hmm

Just buying a 90 TD5 (2000 on a "W") from an independent dealer. Bit lower mileage than that (90k), but I've paid nearly half as much again as your £8k.

Don't think mine's a full CSW, but it's got most of the kit (4 separate seats in the back, full headlining). It's also had quite a lot of money spent on accessories.

This one's not been off roaded, and hasn't had a tow hitch fitted. I guess this might make a difference.

Cheers

Ben
