yep he's out of intensive care but apparently the next 2 days are critical and there not saying how bad his brain injury is, here's hoping for a speedy recovery

He's been talking to Captain Slow (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5371556.stm)

Good news; I was horrified when I heard about the crash; I met Richard at Malvern a couple of weeks ago, and he is a thoroughly nice chap (as well as being a Driving God and incredibly cute!!! ) I hope he makes a full and speedy recovery.

Good News :(biggrin):

Glad he is getting better. It would not be top gear without "the driving god".
They had a thing about it on radio2 the vine show and the normal do gooders saying ban motorsoprt etc. Think the hamster would not be happy if he thought that this crash brought a end to motor sport. Just hope this brain damage wont sop him from bening on top gear. I remember seeing him at the caravan and outdoor show at the nec. and ribbing him about the nice caravans and asking which one he was buying  . he told me he was looking at the boats (in the caravan area  ).

Now in a General ward!
Maybe he really is a driving God?
-
When he does get back on Top Gear you just know Clarkson is going to take the P. That' twhat mates do then watch the complaints to the BBC.
-
any one else seen the photo in one of the papers? he's sat on top of his series 1 really is a good photo. my lad says he's hopes he gets better and still goes onto top gear as 'it won't be the same without him'
-
it's great. the news seems to get better each day. :D
-

If Clarksons column on 'The Suns' website (linked elsewhere) is correct, Hammond is up & walking, & more to the point, abusing May
I'll have to get in touch to a couple of contacts I have at LGI (some of our old staff) & see what they know
