i understand for example 215/80/16 but i havent got a clue what 31/10.5/15 i guess that 10.5 is the width and 15 the rim but what does the 31 mean :?

Mine are 10-10.5x20 - that means 20" rim, 10.5" of tyre each side of the rim (so 41" high in total), and they're 10" wide. Nice and easy, isn't it?

The 101. You're making me wonder now. I'll go and measure them next time I see it. But they are on the large side. 2 of them fit across the back of the thing, on the tyre shelves with a bit of a gap, and it's about 7'6" wide in total, so it sounds about right.
