Title: alternative lift for the vit??

hi, i'm after lifting my vitara on a budget and wondered if anyone knows of springs and shockers from another car or manufacturer that'll do the job? my mate owns a motor factors you see and i can get standard items quite cheap. any ideas anybody?

thanks very much mate. i'm thinking of fabricating some rock sliders too, how do most people attach them? can i just weld them straight onto the chassis? or is this not too good an idea?

Rock sliders - excellent plan :)

Cut out the sills and insert box section.

Then weld them to the chassis :)  Make sure you do the body lift (if you're doing one) first. :)

they look great mate. i'll have to have a crack at it. the clutch went today though so i'll have to fix that first.  :cry:

i'll have to start working eight days a week!!
