Hi All,
I Recently purchased a Series III Truckcab. I sounded the horn at someone the other day, and it just went eeeerrrrrrr, like they do; a bit small and pathetic.
I could barely hear it over the general cab noise, not sure if they did for the V6.
Has anyone stuck in a new horn, and if so, what from?
I thought about robbing one fron a scrappers, some meaty car horn or something...
Cheers,
Bob

Brand-new horns only cost a few £ from any motor-factor, I would bother trying to find a decent S/H one which might not work properly anyway. For less than £15 you can buy a pair of Hi/Lo note items which will let anyone know you are coming

Beat you to it
You can just see the compressor inside the passenger wing (next to the coil)

I've seen some marine "single trumpet boat horn" that I think I'll go for, they're about 25 + 5 for p&p. In Stainless, with just 12v direct connection, no compressor of anything!!
