Post by: blackbob on July 18, 2006, 16:17:35
WOT A CRAP IDEA had to change the o/s stop lamp bulb this afternoon first the seats in the way then the bulb holder would not go back in so had to remove the lamp to refit the bulb holder
dont you hate plastic nuts
all cos the lamp had traped the seal and obscured the bulb holder hole :(

been there done it got the scarred knuckles to prove it :(

not the best bit of design i have seen

but then again have you seen the location of bulbs on some modern vehicles,   helped me neighbour out the other night,   yea you guessed it--  "only a two minute job"   which involved removing the cars battery after removing plastic covers to locate the battery, removed the front grill/flitch panel, removed the headlamp, and then simply replaced the bulb  : :(bigangry):     i checked with main agent next day and was met by the reply "yep thats right"

Happened to me a few months ago. Ended up looking as if I'd stripped the whole back end out just to change the bulb.
