morning all. i have to price up the sending of a paddocks heavy duty front bumper. i have peoblems :oops: . how in the hell do you find out how much it weights :shock: .....
also does anyone know a decent courier company. ? its going from gosport to lincs....... just looking for someone who will take it a a good price.....

Try some local hauliers, might be better than post office or it would be parcel farce for something that size and weight

sorry having not read the original post too well...i would reckon on the bumper being about 35kgs ish....does it have bullbars as well?

Got any friends who drive HGV's or know anyone with a caravan that might be going to Lincolnshire or Yorkshire on holiday? Or keep hold of it untill Billing or Peterborough shows and arrange to meet up to hand it over.

If it's of any help I could get my carrier to pick it up and forward it to your buyer.
They do surchage for 3rd party collection and you would need to be in all day for them to collect. Based on the estimate of 35 Kgs it would cost £34.66 including VAT. I doubt this is anywhere near the cheapest because the deal we have is based on mostly lighter packages and the 3rd party collection surcharge whacks it up too.
